Adaptive Cartography for Human-Centered Location Based Services

Well-designed mobile GeoICT applications could improve the lives of millions who daily need to make critical decisions on the go. However, current location-based services (LBS) and Geo-ICT applications are still mostly technology-oriented, and far from human-centered (ie, adapted to users' needs, constraints, and mobile use context). 

This project aims to explore design guidelines for the development of human-centered LBS to support spatial-temporal decision-making in the mobile context.
