Midlancer. (ESF 8915)

In this project we want to test a new concept from France, namely that of midlancers as a new intermediate step to help employees to dare and make the step as a self-employed person. Here an organization "hires" the self-employed and forms a collective. Self-employed people choose their own wages and customers and donate 6% of their wages to create a game. With this you can take paid leave later, get paid a wage when you have no customers for a while, and you are entitled to social security in the event of illness. Furthermore, the structure provides a team spirit and cooperation to buffer setbacks. Customers and advice can also be exchanged with each other. This new status could thus offer an ideal solution for employees who are looking for more autonomy and flexibility, but who still want to have a team and sufficient (social) security.
