Finalization of the Ecodocks model to support management related to contaminated sediments in the Antwerp harbor docks.

The Ecodocks project was a collaboration with the Antwerp Port Authority from November 2013 till April 2017. Within this research project we developed a model to that supports in risk management of contaminated sediments in the Antwerp harbor docks. The model was used for the first time by external soil remediation experts to perform a risk assessment for the contaminated sediments in Hansdock. It became clear that the information contained in the model was interpreted correctly, but that the final conclusions were not sufficiently facilitated. Within this follow-up project the usability of the Ecodocks model will be improved.
