The role of the DFNA5 tumour suppressor gene in the tumourigenesis of solid tumours.
The general aim of this study is to investigate the role of DFNA5 in tumourigenesis, both on the molecular and the preclinical level. Although the preliminary indications for an important role are strong, very few studies have investigated this8,9,10,14. Further investigations are highly recommended. One of the main aims is the development of DFNA5 as a molecular biomarker for cancer.
