Management and re-use of contaminated industrial sludge from geotechnical point of view
Book Contribution - Book Chapter Conference Contribution
Knowledge of mechanical properties of each particular industrial waste is required for proper landfill design. Industrial sludge and naturally occurring soil show similarities and differences. This paper describes the successful application of conventional geotechnical practices through careful study and monitoring. This has yielded a practical and economical solution for utilising and managing the existing landfill site.
