Project

CrossCare (R-7017)

This CrossCare project aims to offer a hands-on support to MKB/FWO in the development and market launch of care innovation in a cross-border framework, as an answer to the current care needs. CrossCare will support the entrepeneur during the process from idea development to a market-ready product or service, by means of a fund for the co-finance of knowledge, manpower and material and by putting a cross-border living lab at the disposal with a focus on care. By the development of care innovations, hard societal challenges are tackled such as keeping care affordable, accessible and qualitative. Challenges that both Flanders as the Netherlands have in common. In addition, CrossCare stimulates the development of the healthcare economy through concrete innovation process: CrossCare aims to support approximately 60 innovative business courses. Since CrossCare works with calls in which (consortia of) companies become 'partner light', we choose a runtime of 5 years for CrossCare.
