Surrogaatmodellen voor de studie van hartritmestoornissen

State-of-art computational models of the electromechanical processes in the heart are increasingly being used for personalised medicine. However, they face a validation problem since it is unclear how to tailor a biophysically detailed model to individual patients or activation sequences. Here we take a surrogate modelling approach to provide a new stepstone between computer modeling and clinical practice.
