Organisation profile:The unit arable crops focuses on all regional grown arable crops: potatoes, cereals, fibre crops, protein crops, industrial crops and forage crops. Improvement of variety choice, cultivation techniques and plantprotection are standard in our research program. We focus on sustainable use of nutriënts, the local production of proteins and the introduction of precision farming techniques in arable production.
