The image of Saudi women in novels written by Saudi men is one of the least explored areas of Saudi literature. This project aims to fill the gap by looking at the portrayal of women in Saudi novels, how male authors present them in literary forms, and the social transformations in these texts. This study will also be an important addition to the existing literary works on the portrayal, status, and the social transformations on the typical Saudi woman, from the standpoint of male authors. The research covers a time period from 1990 to 2019, initially. Therefore, there will be a number of social transformations that have occurred in the Saudi society, which will be followed by a change in the image of women as well as in the understanding of women and society, of their rights.
