EPOC 2030-2050 (EPOC 2030-2050)

In Belgian research institutions there is a lot of knowledge and expertise regarding energy modeling. Different models are used, such as techno-economic investment models, energy market models, electricity network models, and models around buildings and transport. The aim of the EPOC 2030-2050 project is to combine the expertise at Belgian energy research institutions by linking these models to each other and matching the input data, whereby the approach and results are carefully discussed with the Belgian energy sector. . This will shed light on the Belgian energy future in 2030 and 2050 and will support the political debate with scientific results.
