EVTecLab: Flemish EV Technological Laboratory (IWT586)

A consortium of ten Flemish companies and research institutes, coordinated by Punch Powertrain will evaluate and optimise new propulsion technologies for electric vans, trucks and buses, in order to make them commercially viable. The vehicles will be used for for treight and public transport. The tests take place in real-life and controlled conditions.

In this way, EV TecLab wants to contribute to the introduction of electric vehicles and sustainable mobility. The consortium will also share research results with all other parties concerned, including a large number of vehicle producers. This should result in new commercial products and services. With EV TecLab, the consortium aims to yield significant added value for both the Flemish enterprises concerned as the Flemish economy in General.
