EZA seminar ‘The key challenges of the digital world of work -Industry 4.0: working conditions, new skills and training systems, employment trends and income distribution’. (EZA)

The aim of the seminar is to address the gaps in the current Industry4.0 policy debates and to set up a dialogue with trade union experts and delegates from several EU countries, Belgium and EZA members organisations. The first key objective is to discuss the organisational - rather than individual - perspective on skills related to digitalisation and to explore the conditions for regional ‘skills-ecosystems’ which support high road regional developments of Industry4.0. Secondly, the seminar wants to address the impact of Industry4.0 on working conditions, employment and income distribution and to debate the conditions, opportunities and hindrances for an effective social dialogue related to Industry4.0 from a workers’ perspective.
