Project

The Political and Cultural Nature of Rewilding (FWOTM756)

This project investigates the practice of rewilding (the ecological restoration of marginal land driven by specie reintroduction) as a political project. It therefore seeks to understand who stands to win and loose from rewilding, how rewilding practice influences local realities, and what the barriers to inclusive rewilding projects are. Lastly, it seeks to experiment with participatory methods in rewilding policy.
