Does electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) reduce amyloid deposition through microglial activation?

In this study we propose to investigate if ECT alters the rate of amyloid deposition in the brains of LLD patients with cerebral amyloidosis, and if this is associated with increasing microglial activation.
