A Reader’s Perspective on Early Christian Texts. Book Epigrams in the Byzantine Manuscript Tradition of Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite.
The research focuses on the works of Ps-Dionysius the Areopagite (5th – 6th century). Mrs De Groot aims to examine all book epigrams in the Byzantine manuscripts of this corpus by providing a critical edition of the epigrams and analysing their relationship with the main texts of the corpus. She will also compare these poems to epigrams on other theologians of the same period.
