The funding will serve to update an existing iPad application for delivering Basic Life Support in schools. The App is developed taking into account the latest research in educational tool design and is embedded in a peer learning setting. In this setting, students work together to maximise each others learning. Research has demonstrated the effectiveness of the App for delivering Basic Life Support. The update will also make the App available for Android and iPhone devices in addition tot he present iPad platform. As a consequence, more users will be able to download the application for use in their educational setting.
