Process control via thermal measurements and modeling (ProCoTherMM)

Within the Flemish industry there are major challenges in the field of thermal measurements and heat transport. The many questions from the industry clearly show that there is a great need for a more generic approach to the challenges of thermal measurement and thermal control of processes and products.

The overall aim of the project is therefore to bring together, transfer and apply the available knowledge in the field of the temperature measurement and thermal process- & product control followed by any adjustment of the process based on the measurements. In this way, both economic impacts on companies and social impact as a result of lower energy and raw material deficits will be achieved.
