Continuous Monitoring of Groundwater Dynmaics in Coastal Dunes

This project focuses on the implementation of a continuous monitoring system at a study site using the BGS ERT PRIME system. The PRoactive Infrastructure Monitoring and Evaluation (PRIME) system is an advanced ERT that can measure electrical resistivity with high accuracy and precision, making it useful for groundwater exploration and environmental monitoring, especially in locations with changing topography like our dune area. As part of the proposed research, four transects of 50 electrodes would be installed at the study site in different areas to provide a unique perspective on subsurface processes.
