Analog-to-Digital Converter Design Exploration for Compute-in-Memory Accelerators Interuniversitair Micro-Electronica Centrum vzw KU Leuven
This article comprehensively investigates analog-to-digital converter (ADC) design for compute-in-memory array. The authors show that 6-bit ADC precision is sufficient to guarantee no loss of accuracy for large arrays, while achieving the best tradeoff between hardware performance and area overhead, compared to prior state-of-the-art designs.
Capturing ruminative exploration : extending the four-dimensional model of identity formation in late adolescence KU Leuven Universiteit Gent
Identity exploration has been associated with openness and curiosity but also with anxiety and depression. To explain these mixed findings, the four-dimensional identity formation model [Luyckx, K., Goossens, L., Soenens, B., & Beyers, W. (2006b). Unpacking commitment and exploration: Validation of an integrative model of adolescent identity formation. Journal of Adolescence, 29, 361-378.] was extended using data from two late adolescent ...
The relationship of types of exploration activities with originality of visual arts designs Universiteit Antwerpen
This study examines specific exploration activities in students' visual arts portfolios from secondary education. Creating original visual arts products requires exploration according to Getzels and Csiksentmihalyi (The creative vision. A longitudinal study of problem finding in Art. New York: John Wiley & Sons Inc., 1976). Obtaining insight about the contribution of specific exploration activities to the originality of arts products is ...
How do different types of interorganizational ties matter in technological exploration? Universiteit Antwerpen Universiteit Hasselt
Purpose Boundary-spanning exploration through establishing alliances is an effective strategy to explore technologies beyond local search in innovating firms. The purpose of this paper is to argue that it is useful to make a distinction in boundary-spanning exploration between what a firm learns from its alliance partners (explorative learning from partners (ELP)) and what it learns from other organisations (explorative learning from ...
Exploration in technological innovations with external partners Universiteit Hasselt
Although the existent literature has provided us with great insights on technological exploration and exploitation, there are still underdeveloped areas that deserve further investigations. Since companies are inclined to the refinement and improvement of an existing technology (exploitation) and overlook the opportunities to explore new knowledge that departs in a significant way from the existing practices, exploration naturally deserves more ...
