Numerous methods are describing how one can integrate components directly on conductive textile yarns by means of mechanical force, conductive adhesives or by soldering. The problem with these structures is the reliability under mechanical stresses as bending, elongation and torsion. To protect the electrical interconnection a rigid epoxy is mostly used to overcome early breakage of this contact.
