Controlled Li Alloying by Post-Synthesis Electrochemical Treatment of Cu2ZnSn(S, Se)4 Absorbers for Solar Cells Universiteit Hasselt
Li-alloying of Cu2ZnSn(S, Se)4 (CZTSSe) absorbers is widely accepted for its beneficial influence on the performance of CZTSSe-based thin film solar cells. Given the degraded morphology characteristic of absorbers synthesized in the presence of excess Li concentrations, it is speculated that Li may be best incorporated into the absorber after synthesis. Here, we report an innovative method to add Li to synthesized CZTSSe by an electrochemical treatment using a liquid electrolyte. Our approach decouples Li addition from absorber synthesis, allowing one to possibly overcome morphology issues ...

Timing uncertainty in collective risk dilemmas encourages group reciprocation and polarization Vrije Universiteit Brussel
ocial dilemmas are often shaped by actions involving uncertain returns only achievable in the future, such as climate action or voluntary vaccination. In this context, uncertainty may produce non-trivial effects. Here, we assess experimentally — through a collective risk dilemma — the effect of timing uncertainty, i.e. how uncertainty about when a target needs to be reached affects the participants’ behaviours. We show that timing uncertainty prompts not only early generosity but also polarised outcomes, where participants’ total contributions are distributed unevenly. Furthermore, analysing ...
Parameter tables for: Three-Center Tight-Binding together with Multipolar Auxiliary Functions KU Leuven
General information
This dataset contains ab-initio tight-binding parameters for selected element combinations and exchange-correlation functionals. All files have been generated with the Hotcent code (v2.0.0-rc.2) and are primarily intended for use with the Tibi program (>= v1.0.0-rc.1). Hotcent and Tibi are freely available at https://gitlab.com/mvdb/hotcent and https://gitlab.com/mvdb/tibi, respectively.
This dataset may, for example, be used to reproduce the three-center tight-binding calculations in the following work, which also describes in more detail how ...

Magnetic early B-type stars are rare. Indirect indicators are needed to identify them before investing in time-intensive spectropolarimetric observations. We use the strongest indirect indicator of a magnetic field in B stars, which is periodic variability of ultraviolet (UV) stellar wind lines occurring symmetric about the approximate rest wavelength. Our aim is to identify probable magnetic candidates which would become targets for follow-up spectropolarimetry to search for a magnetic field. From the UV wind line variability the B1/B2V star sigma Lupi emerged as a new magnetic candidate ...

Synthetic transition aluminas (χ, κ, θ, γ, δ, η, ρ) exhibit unique adsorptive and catalytic properties leading to numerous practical applications. Generated by thermal transformation of aluminium (oxy)hydroxides, structural differences between them arise from the variability of aluminium coordination numbers and degree of dehydroxylation. Unequivocal identification of these phases using X-ray diffraction has proven to be very difficult. Quadrupolar interactions of 27Al nuclei, highly sensitive to each site symmetry, render advanced 27Al solid-state NMR a unique spectroscopic tool to ...
Replication Data for: Polymers as a Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer Medium KU Leuven
ELECTA Ghent Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer coupler measurement data, used for the paper "Polymers as a Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer Medium". This dataset contains raw data of the measured coupler capacitance and leakage resistance, for seven different media: six polymers (polycarbonate, epratal, epramid, PTFE, multilene and epratex) and air. All measurements were made for a frequency range of 400kHz to 10MHz. The coupling itself consists of 4 metal plates, each measuring 30 cm by 30 cm, with a medium in between of 2mm thick. The measurements are performed at a temperature of 22.4°C ...
