This paper presents the application of a frequency domain formula to high-speed impulsive noise prediction of helicopter rotors with high tip Mach number. In order to account for the contribution of quadrupole sources located mainly outside the sonic cylinder, a supersonic permeable cylindrical data surface is selected.
