Waterprotect - Innovative tools enabling drinking WATER PROTECTion in rural and urban environments

WaterProtect is a new European H2020 project aiming to
1. Establish a multi actor approach in seven representative case areas
2. Develop and demonstrate new water governance models
3. Harmonise datasets
4. Identify best farming practices and design innovative farming systems
5. Create user-friendly web-based collaborative management tools
6. Upscale to other areas in the EU
7. Provide guidelines to the improved implementation of existing legislation
8. Share knowledge and practical advice

Inagro is the case study leader of the Belgian case, which will be executed in the Bollaartbeek catchment.
Inagro has to contact and work together with the the local stakeholders and farmers to come to an effective uptake of best management practices and improve water quality.
