Methylering in situ hybridisatie: visualisatie van methylering patronen met behulp UPSAS (MISH)

MISH could be applied for prostate cancer diagnosis in small biopsies or in cytology samples of shed neoplastic cells in the urine of patients. Currently, methylation marker research and diagnosis is a very expensive process, the price of which could be reduced by MISH (e.g. no DNA extraction is required); MISH may also be automated for high-throughput analyses. MISH can therefore provide a better alternative for research and routine diagnostic applications.
