Androgen receptor splice variants and androgen deprivation therapy
The present invention provides androgen receptor splice variants that are associated with resistance to androgen deprivation therapy, such as treatment with abiraterone acetate or enzalutamide. The present invention is especially useful in the field of oncology, including prostate cancer diagnosis, characterization, classification and treatment.
