ACTPHAST4R: European Open Access Platform for Photonics Prototyping to Support Innovation-Driven Researchers

ACTPHAST for Researchers - abbreviated as ACTPHAST4R - is a European Union supported initiative that is specifically designed to providing access for photonics and non-photonics researchers to advanced photonics technology platforms, with the aim to demonstrate their conceptual breakthroughs with industrially-relevant equipment. In this paper, we summarize the premises on which ACTPHAST4R builds and how innovation driven researchers can benefit from ACTPHAST4R support, more specifically how they can gain open access to the best photonics prototyping platforms in Europe.
