Resolutie van ontsteking en zijn mediatoren in modellen van osteoartrose

Osteoarthritis is the most common chronic joint disease and is increasingly recognized as a disease to which all tissues of the joint contribute. Inflammation is considered an important contributor and a preferred therapeutic target. This project will determine the precise kinetics of inflammatory changes and their resolution in the DMM, collagenase and papain models of osteoarthritis, collect samples for lipidomic analysis and samples for gene expression studies at the determined time points, and study the effect of pro-resolving lipids in osteoarthritic mouse models.
