- Ann Van Herzele works as a senior researcher at the Department of Human Ecology, Free University of Brussels. She holds degrees in Forestry (University of Ghent) and Environmental Impact Assessment (Free University of Brussels), and a PhD in Social Sciences (Wageningen University). She has a longstanding experience both in practice and research in the field of environmental planning and management, including the participation of various users and stakeholders in the process. Her current work has focused on practices of decision-making and knowledge usage in multi-actor environments, in particular green space planning and management, private forest management and agri-environmental management
