Shifting attention between the space of the body and external space: electrophysiological correlates of visual-nociceptive crossmodal spatial attention Ghent University
The study tested whether nociceptive stimuli applied to a body limb can orient spatial attention in external space toward visual stimuli delivered close to that limb. Nociceptive stimuli were applied to either the left or the right hand. Task-relevant visual stimuli were delivered at the location adjacent to the stimulated hand (70% valid trials) or adjacent to the other hand (30% invalid trials). Visual stimuli were discriminated with shorter ...

Administrative processes have a reputation of being lengthy, time-consuming and costly. Often the same data is stored several times by different services, whether or not in heterogeneous forms and formats. Digital collaboration and harmonization between government departments or between government departments and external actors can make administrative processes faster, simpler and cheaper for all parties involved.

Sequence space representations for translation-modulation invariant function and distribution spaces Vrije Universiteit Brussel
We provide sequence space representations for the test function space DE and the distribution space DE′ associated to a Banach space E belonging to a broad class of translation-modulation invariant Banach spaces of distributions. The spaces DE and DE′ generalize the classical Schwartz spaces DLp and DLp′, respectively. Our proof is based on Gabor frame characterizations of DE and DE′, which are also established here and are of independent ...
