The explanation of qualitative properties in Neoplatonic philosophy of nature and metaphysics in relation to the Neoplatonic theory of science. KU Leuven
Developing a context-sensitive support tool prototype for interdisciplinary research using contemporary insights from computational linguistics and philosophy of science. Ghent University
The aim of my project is to develop a tool for supporting interdisciplinary research. The tool consists of two modules: a language module which enables the disambiguation of concepts which are central to the interdisciplinary research, and a methodology module which allows to explicate (potentially conflicting) assumptions on ‘causation’ and ‘explanation’ held by the interdisciplinary research team members.

(ii) Was the modern seperation of natural philosophy and science a consequence of this?
