Study of the influence of the Dynamic Ergodic Divertor on turbulence in the tokamak TEXTOR using reflectometry Ghent University
The present research programme aims at demonstrating the potential of the Dynamic Ergodic Divertor concept on TEXTOR to affect turbulence in tokamaks. This research will use advanced correlation reflectometry and will partly be based on plasma diagnostic systems at TEXTOR, designed and constructed by the UGent research group on Nuclear Fusion.
When size matters: a platform to study molecular interactions and multimerisation KU Leuven
We are requesting funding for a system that offers a choice
of resolving the samples according to hydrodynamic volume
using either size-exclusion chromatography or field-flow
fractionation with an online multi-detector system including
multi-angle light scattering, dynamic light scattering, UVvisible
light absorption, refractometry, and the detection of
fluorescence spectra. The requested instrument allows to ...
Combined retinal imaging using OCT and adaptive optics KU Leuven
Introduction and background
Current advanced non-invasive retinal imaging instruments permit to detect and measure accurately small focal changes of the retina in patients[PSt1] . These findings can help in determining the cause of unexplained visual symptoms and visual loss. For example, the macula of patients with vitreomacular traction may show only subtle changes detectable by ophthalmoscopy. However, optical coherence tomography ...
