Evaluation of myocardial stiffness in children and adults with congenital heart disease using frame rate shear wave imaging. KU Leuven
This project aims to explore the behaviour of these shear waves in young hearts. We also aim at testing its ability to evaluate MS in children and adults with congenital heart disease. We believe that, non-invasive detection of diastolic dysfunction in those patients will help proper timing of interventions (surgical or catheter) and will lead to better prognosis.
