Ataxia is seen in approximately two thirds of people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). People with ataxia have symptoms of tremor, incoordination of eye, arm and leg movements, poor balance and walking. Medication and deep brain surgery have limited effects on ataxia and the mainstay of treatment is rehabilitation.
