Study of AI and new molecular techniques in post-harvest technology; investigate how these techniques can be used to answer research questions about hypoxia and also in applications (storage and sorting of fruit and vegetables). I wish to do this by means of short scientific stays in different institutes (each approx. 1.5 m) (e.g. Cornell Univ, USA; Stellenbosch Univ, SA).
