Explaining diet quality, water intake and beverage consumption in European preschool children Ghent University
Given the important role of a healthy diet for the physical and mental growth of children, promoting a good diet quality should start early in life. Current dietary patterns in preschoolers are below recommendations. This study is one of the few to systematically analyze important determinants of preschoolers’ dietary quality, water and beverage consumption using both cross-sectional and intervention research.
