Data quality issues involved in collecting complication and intervention data: experience from Morocco Institute of Tropical Medicine
Quality of hospital electronic health record (EHR) data based on the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) in heart failure : pilot data quality assessment study Ghent University
Background: There is increasing recognition that health care providers need to focus attention, and be judged against, the impact they have on the health outcomes experienced by patients. The measurement of health outcomes as a routine part of clinical documentation is probably the only scalable way of collecting outcomes evidence, since secondary data collection is expensive and error-prone. However, there is uncertainty about whether routinely ...
The European thoracic data quality project: An Aggregate Data Quality score to measure the quality of international multi-institutional databases KU Leuven
To describe the methodology for the development of data quality metrics in multi-institutional databases, deriving a cumulative data quality score [Aggregate Data Quality score (ADQ)]. The ESTS database was used to create and apply the metrics. The Units contributing to the ESTS database were ranked for the quality of data uploaded using the ADQ.
The Influence of Methodological Choices on Data Quality and Quantity in Experience Sampling Studies KU Leuven
Experience sampling is becoming an increasingly popular tool to investigate individuals' daily life. In studies using Experience Sampling Methodology (ESM), participants are typically asked to fill in several questionnaires per day, over several days, while following their normal daily routines. Despite the increased popularity of ESM, methodological developments in this field have been lagging behind. Setting up ESM studies involves many ...
Deep learning dose prediction for IMRT of esophageal cancer: The effect of data quality and quantity on model performance KU Leuven
PURPOSE: To investigate the effect of data quality and quantity on the performance of deep learning (DL) models, for dose prediction of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) of esophageal cancer. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Two databases were used: a variable database (VarDB) with 56 clinical cases extracted retrospectively, including user-dependent variability in delineation and planning, different machines and beam configurations; and a ...
Ethical research is grounded in quality data: a clinical data management workshop in Varanasi. KU Leuven
Quality control of CarboEurope flux data, part 1: coupling footprint analyses with flux data quality assessment to evaluate sites in forest ecosystems Ghent University University of Antwerp
We applied a site evaluation approach combining Lagrangian Stochastic footprint modeling with a quality assessment approach for eddy-covariance data to 25 forested sites of the CarboEurope-IP network. The analysis addresses the spatial representativeness of the flux measurements, instrumental effects on data quality, spatial patterns in the data quality, and the performance of the coordinate rotation method. Our findings demonstrate that ...
