The objectives of the proposed research program are to examine (1) the role of child attention bias in understanding child’s remembering of pain; (2) the role of child attention bias in understanding child’s ability to forget pain and (3) the role of parental pain attending behavior, in relationship to child attention bias, in understanding child’s remembering and forgetting of pain.
