Processing visual sensor data in low-power wide area networks Ghent University
Low-power wide area networks (LPWAN) have witnessed a rapid evolution, with many important actors massively investing research efforts in this area. These networks connect low-power sensing devices which continuously perform measurements and emit small amounts of data. Important recent LPWAN developments include the LoRa, SigFox and IEEE 802.11ah technologies. From a different perspective, as consequence of precipitous advancements and ...

Phase-spatial beamforming for decoding motion-onset visual evoked potentials KU Leuven
My PhD aims at improving the functionality of brain-computer interfaces in comfort, communication speed and ease-of-use. All BCI I develop are based on electroencephalography communication and I focus mainly on the development of new artificial intelligence and signal processing techniques to improve the three prior points.
My expertise lies in signal processing and transfer learning in BCI setting.
