Through an integrated and multidisciplinary approach insight is gained in the distribution, biodiversity, ecosystem functioning and connectivity of European Margin Ecosystems such as slopes and deep-basins, canyons, seamount, cold water corals, and chemosynthetic based ecosystems. Also the impact of anthropogenic activities in these deep-sea ecosystems is investigated.
