The overall scientific goal is to identify and analyze the legal challenges arising in the context of information management and digital archiving. The research will also provide normative insights regarding the compatibility and application of existing legal rules with/in a very specific sector. Recommendations will be made to overcome the regulatory gaps and conflicts between legislation, open data and (archive) digitization.
