Accurate attention correction in PET-CT and PET-MR with information of time-of-flight (TOF) information Vrije Universiteit Brussel
The information offer to and information needs of children and youngsters belonging to social and cultural minorities on behalf of Vlaams Informatiepunt Jeugd. KU Leuven
Improving picture quality and clinical information with the help of Time-of-Flight information in PET Ghent University
In TOF-PET the scanner measures the difference in photon arrival time. This extra information is used in reconstruction to improve image quality. The first goal is to quantify the gain (signal gain or noise reduction) in clinical studies or patient like phantoms. The second objective is to determine if more accurate information from clinical data.

Building personalised machine learning models in health informatics with limited datasets KU Leuven
Healthcare services are being transformed by technological advancements and the availability of health-related data, from wearable device monitoring to treatment personalisation. Machine learning (ML) has the potential to harness this data by identifying patterns and developing prediction models to assist stakeholders and, ultimately, improve healthcare. The applications of machine learning in healthcare have grown exponentially, from drug ...
A jump start for metaproteomics informatics Ghent University
Metaproteomics is an increasingly popular means to study the full protein complement of entire (microbial) communities. These proteins are the ‘worker’ molecules in cells, carrying out the chemical reactions that sustain life, and that ensure communication with other cells in the community, and with the host organism. Metaproteomics is frequently applied to gain insight into human gut microbiota, the microbial communities that live on and ...
