Fruits and vegetables play a crucial role in food and nutrition security in Bangladesh, but food safety issues dominate traditional markets. This study aims to examine and compare perspectives and practices of both vendors and consumers with respect to food safety, as well as determine impacts in terms of information effectiveness (nudging), willingness-to-pay (consumers), and economic losses (vendors).
