Environmental exposures such as metabolomes and mycotoxins have been linked to adverse birth outcomes and poor child growth in low – and middle income countries. Findings to date however, are inconclusive. Therefore, we aimed to assess the potential exposure to multiple mycotoxins and metabolomics during pregnancy and the associations with foetal growth trajectories and adverse birth outcomes in rural Ethiopia.
