Th is article aims to be a confrontation with Nancy’s ‘deconstruction of Christianity.’ Its arguments are instructed by Derrida’s thesis in his On Touching—Jean-Luc Nancy, in which he speaks of the ‘destructive eff ects’ of Nancy’s own thinking.
