Study of intraspecific variation in the movement behaviour of a small benthic fish species: integrating behavioural, ecological, endocrinological and molecular data. University of Antwerp
Behavioural change based on the self-categorisation theory: promotion of physical activity among sedentary older adults (intervention study among older adults on intrinsic and social determinants of physical activity and health-related behaviour). KU Leuven
A comprehensive model of job search behavior: An integration of the Motivational Self -Regulatory Model and the Theory of Planned Behavior. Ghent University
The research project aims to theoretically build and empirically test a comprehensive model of job search behavior, integrating the Motivational Self-Regulatory Model and the Theory of Planned Behavior to identify the predictors of job search behavior. In addition, recent insight on the unfolding sequence of job search success are applied to add employment outcomes to the integrative model.

Moderators of the question - behaviour effect Ghent University
Making a self-prediction concerning social normative behavior significantly increases the chance of engaging in this behavior. Answering an intention question may also have an influence on subsequent behavior. In order to get to a better understanding of this question-behavior effect the variables that moderate this effect will be investigated.
The more you tell me how and why to avoid spreading COVID-19, the more I feel I can spare myself the trouble. Enhancing compliance with measures against COVID-19 by counteracting side-effects of appeals for preventive behaviour. KU Leuven

“On Becoming a Green Kid”: A Research Project on How Community Based Interventions Can Stimulate Children’s Pro-environmental Concern and Behaviour. Ghent University
Children have a huge role to play in preventing the endless list of environmental threats the world is facing. This project explores how children (between six and twelve years old) can be incited to perform pro-environmental behaviour and the role environmental concern plays in this process. More specifically, we will examine how children can be stimulated to more energy efficient behaviors. We will examine to what extent nudges and public ...
Development and evaluation of an intervention to improve physical activity, sleep and sedentary behaviour among adults using smart wearables Ghent University
High levels of physical activity, low sedentary behaviour and a sleep duration of 7-8 hours are associated with beneficial health outcomes. When aiming to promote these behaviours, they should be studied and promoted together, since a change in the duration of one behaviour affects the duration of another. These behaviours have until now, however, mostly been studied and intervened upon in isolation. This project proposes to study 24-hour ...
