Aluminum Nitride (A1N) - Carbon Nanotube (CNT) composites were prepared to increase the fracture toughness, flexural strength and thermal conductivity of A1N based ceramics by direct in-situ growth of CNTs on the mixtures using Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) technique.
