This study traces the analogy between information structures and town planning in the belgian context during the first four decdes of the twentieth century. The study of the analogy is founded on the exchange between the internationalisation of science and a young town planning practice the research starts from the work of Paul Otlet (1868-1944) and his visualisation of knowledge structures.
