Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a well-defined B-cell neoplasm with a poor prognosis and a short survival. MCL is hallmarked by t(11;14)(q13;q32) that leads to overexpression of cyclin D1, an important regulator of the G1 phase of the cell cycle.
