Discrimination-based verbal aggression in interpreter-mediated public service provision in Flanders Ghent University
Via ethnographic and discourse analytic methods we investigate how public service interpreters in Flanders handle discrimination-based verbal aggressions discursively and internationally. We also investigate how interpreters' handling of discrimination-based aggressions interacts with their (professional) identity and stances towards their own agency.
