Until now, research of fusion bonded joints between reinforced thermoplastics mainly focussed on the welding process. There is only limited information available on the fatigue behaviour of these joints. This project aims to study the fatigue behaviour of fusion bonded composites and to develop a material model, which takes both crack initiation and growth into account.
